Description
Airtec Motorsport introduces the front mount intercooler upgrade for the VAG MQB EA888.3 platform. This intercooler, with a 63mm core and high-quality cast end tanks, directly replaces the smaller and restrictive OEM system. Despite this improvement, the Airtec intercooler fits neatly behind the original bumper, without trimming or cutting.
The intercooler was dyno tested and showed significantly lower air intake temperatures than the OEM version. With the Airtec intercooler, huge drops of 120 degrees were evident, keeping temperatures much closer to ambient and more reliable on every run. This resulted in a huge performance improvement.
