Description
The Akrapovic Evolution Line (Titanium) exhaust system for the Audi S3 Sportback (8Y) 2020-2021 is manufactured using lightweight, racing-proven materials, including titanium for the muffler and link pipe section, and carbon fiber for two sets of newly designed, with hand crafted exhaust pipes. This results in a weight saving of more than 41% compared to the standard stock system. The Evolution Line (Titanium) is equipped with a valve – with a housing cast in the Akrapovic foundry – outside the silencer. This perfect gas flow design feature makes it possible to adjust the sound to deliver an Akrapovic sound effect. This results in a smooth, rich sound during normal driving, with a deep and sporty tone during more dynamic driving of the Audi S3. The power gain is 4 kW (5.4 hp) at 4350 rpm, with a torque increase of 8.8 Nm at 3900 rpm. These numbers were measured on the Akrapovic dyno compared to an Audi S3 with stock stock exhaust.
