Akrapovic – Slip-On Line – BMW X5 M F95

Description

The Akrapovic Slip-On Line (Titanium) offers a distinctive sound when shifting, combined with improved power and torque, all packaged in an all-titanium system that meets ECE type-approval. Manufactured from lightweight high-performance titanium alloys and finished with two sets of carbon/titanium end pieces, the system features complex components manufactured in Akrapovic's own titanium foundry, including the valve housings and collectors from the center silencer to the end pieces. Two valves – one on each side of the silencer – regulate the gas flow to produce that unmistakable Akrapovic sound, which is clearly different from the X5M with a standard system. The exhaust note is most noticeable when shifting and accelerating, and this can be further controlled with the optional Akrapovic Sound Kit for an even more immersive listening experience. Akrapovic has achieved power gains of 12.1 hp at 2,400 rpm and a torque increase of 35.4 Nm at 2,400 rpm compared to a BMW X5M with a standard M Sport exhaust system on their own dyno. As a further improvement, Akrapovic has created optional parts to change the visual appeal of the car and accompany the beautiful finish of the system's end pieces. A handmade carbon fiber diffuser can add an extra special touch to the visual experience.

• To install the slip-on system, the stock exhaust system must be cut off. Read the instructions carefully before beginning installation.
