All the knowledge and experience gained from working with various engines from the sports car manufacturer Akrapovič has been poured into this excellent aftermarket exhaust system. Made from lightweight titanium, the system uses complex components carefully crafted using the in-house titanium foundry to provide perfect acoustics. From the moment the engine is started there is immediate depth, and as the revs rise so does the sensory involvement. At low revs the exhaust produces a deep, iconic flat-six growl, moving through a powerful mid-range, developing into a rich, powerful and high-frequency acoustic sensation at high revs, perfectly matched to the upshift, with an exhilarating downshift experience , inspired by races. This sound pattern is achieved with a precisely calculated H-link between the main pipes, welded precisely at a selected position. The system has been developed for use on closed circuits for competition, but there is no compromise on comfort as the tuning of the system eliminates any drone or unwanted flow noise.
