Description
The oil catch can is used to prevent oil vapors from entering the intake manifold and clogging the intake valves on direct injection engines. Oil deposits on the intake manifold and valves cause reduced performance, poor fuel economy and can damage the fragile intake “valves” and engine. Keep your B7 Audi A4 running smoothly, clean and enjoy the peace of mind that comes with knowing that your car's PCV system is now free of problems.
NOTE: During the winter months, the fluid in the collection container can freeze and cause damage to your engine. Extra attention should be paid to the fluid level or you may choose to remove the collection jug during periods of freezing temperatures.
