Mishimoto offers a limited lifetime warranty on their automotive products, with an emphasis on performance cooling products. This warranty applies to Mishimoto products purchased directly from Mishimoto or authorized dealers (collectively, “Mishimoto Products”). Only the original purchaser of the Mishimoto product can claim this warranty, which is non-transferable. All claims must be accompanied by the original proof of purchase. Subject to the terms of this warranty, upon a valid claim, Mishimoto may, at its option: (i) repair or replace the original Mishimoto product; (ii) replace the original Mishimoto product with the most current available model (if the original model is unavailable); or (iii) provide purchaser with a gift certificate equal to the original purchase price of the Mishimoto product (for example, if support for a specific application has been discontinued). To make a claim, you must complete the online form completely and accurately and provide Mishimoto with a copy of the original proof of purchase. If necessary, you must also ship the Mishimoto product to Mishimoto, with all transportation costs prepaid. Mishimoto also offers a "Mishimoto Accident Protection Plan" for damage resulting from an accident. Claims under this plan must be submitted within three months of the accident and must include photographs of the accident and damage to the vehicle, along with a copy of an official police report. It is important to note that the warranty does not apply to damage caused by improper installation, use, or operation of Mishimoto products. Mishimoto recommends that all products be installed by a trained professional. The warranty also does not cover damage caused by failure to comply with the instructions for use, improper storage, installation, handling, use or manufacture of the product. In addition, shipping charges will apply for repair or replacement of Mishimoto products depending on the type of product and time since purchase. Mishimoto reserves the right to deny any claim and reserves the discretion to determine whether it will repair, replace, or issue a gift card. The general warranty guidelines also require that claims be submitted within 14 days of receiving the product if the product is defective on arrival (DOA). Claims outside this time period are not covered by Mishimoto's Lifetime Warranty. Mishimoto ships repaired products or replacements within the United States via UPS Ground, with expedited shipping options available at an additional cost. Shipments outside the US are subject to additional shipping charges and longer shipping times. In general, Mishimoto's warranty policy is detailed and focused on ensuring customer satisfaction by providing repairs, replacements, or refunds, depending on the circumstances. However, the company emphasizes the importance of proper installation and use of their products to maintain the warranty.
