Description
The Turbosmart BOV Kompact Dual Port for Nissan is a dual outlet-type blow-off valve. The Dual Port vents both to the atmosphere and back into the air intake. Sequential timing ports provide quieter operation during normal driving, while giving you all the benefits of a vent-to-atmosphere BOV in harsher conditions.
Standard blow-off valves on these cars are made of plastic, unlike the Kompact's highly durable machined billet construction. The stock valves are often unable to eliminate harmful compressor surge, and as the car ages, the plastic becomes brittle and can crack, causing serious boost leaks.
With its anodized billet aluminum housing and lightweight aluminum piston, the Kompact offers extreme durability, superior response and excellent boost-retention capacity for its size.
